Die cutting is a process used to generate large numbers of the same shape from a material. Sharp specialty shaped blades is used in die cutting. The blade is bent into the desired shape and mounted to a strong backing, this result is known as the die. The die is then pressed into the material being cut. You can create the same shape, with the exact same dimensions, over and over again.
